The Dickens Project
UCLA is a member of the The
Dickens Project.
UCLA is hosting the 2010 Dickens Project Winter Conference.
Each year two UCLA graduate students are selected
to participate in the weeklong summer conference in Santa Cruz,
called the Dickens Universe. Our representatives:
Joe Rezek and Laura Haupt in 2003
Anne Stiles and Elizabeth Graham in 2004
Matt Dubord and Anne Stiles (returning) in 2005
Jim Caufield and Dustin Friedman in 2006
Josie Richstad and Katherine Isokawa in 2007
Ian Newman and Noah Comet in 2008
Justine Pizzo and Kate Bergren will be our 2009
representatives.
Please contact me if you are interested in attending.
UC undergraduates may also sign up for the week long course in
Santa Cruz for credit.
The Dickens Project also runs a Winter graduate
conference.
UCLA hosted in 2005 (click for program).
We are scheduled to host again in 2010.
