Additional Information

Professor Bristow's research has been supported by several fellowships from institutions such as the British Academy, the Wingate Foundation, St John's College, Oxford, and the Stanford Humanities Center. During 1998-99, while holding the Clark Professorship at UCLA, he organized a series of conferences titled "Oscar Wilde and the Culture of the Fin de Siècle." At present he is at work on two full-length manuscripts: "The Sex of Victorian Poetry" (for Cambridge UP) and "The New Oxford History of English Literature, Volume 9: 1875-1914" (Oxford UP).
