20th-century literature, queer studies, spatial/architectural theory. Third Stage.

James studies 20th-Century literature with an emphasis on spatial theory at both the architectural and geographical scale. He’s particularly interested in how transformations in the production of space mutate not just the representational content of literature, but also it’s form. According to the propaganda he distributes, sexuality and religion also play a role in there somewhere. On a more biographical note, he received his BA from the University of Colorado in 2001 and his MA from NYU in 2005. In his spare time, James does his best to enjoy the color blue.
