20th-Century American Literature. Third Stage.

Joyce studies 20th-Century American literature with a focus on the Asian-American novel. She is particularly intrigued by spatial theory, ethnography, representations of mental illness, and interdisciplinary methodology. She received her SB from MIT in 2002 and grew up in Libertyville, Illinois. She has a pet fish.
