19th- and 20th-Century American Literature. Second Stage.

Hannah is a native of Los Angeles who received her BA in American Literature from UCLA and MA in English with Creative Writing focus from CSUN. She is passionate about 19th and 20th century American ethnic literature, especially African American and Asian American. Her favorite writers include Chang-rae Lee, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Zora Neale Hurston. (She disapproves of Oprah's job at Hurston's best-known novel.). In her free time, she enjoys reading books in various languages (currently, she is hard at work on works in Spanish) and doting on her beautiful dog Casper.
